QUALITY, HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT (QHSE) POLICY

Policy Statement

At Maas Trading we are committed to supplying MEP materials and conducting our business activities in a manner that upholds quality safeguards the health and safety of our employees contractors customers and visitors and protects the environment. We believe that all injuries occupational illnesses environmental impacts and quality failures are preventable. Quality Health Safety and Environmental considerations are integrated into every business decision project and daily operation.

Our QHSE Commitments

01 Leadership and Accountability

Demonstrate visible leadership and commitment to QHSE. Provide adequate resources for QHSE programs. Set measurable objectives and targets. Ensure accountability at all levels.

02 Legal and Regulatory Compliance

Comply with all applicable Saudi laws regulations and standards. Meet client specific quality and HSE requirements. Maintain all permits licenses and records. Align with ISO 9001 ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.

03 Quality Assurance

Supply cables and MEP materials that meet or exceed specification. Verify supplier and product quality before dispatch. Conduct regular quality checks across stock and delivery. Continuously improve product handling and storage standards.

04 Risk Management

Identify hazards and assess risks before work begins. Implement effective control measures. Apply the hierarchy of controls. Review and monitor risks continuously.

06 Environmental Protection

Prevent pollution and minimize impact. Reduce reuse and recycle materials where possible. Conserve energy and water. Promote sustainable supply practices.

07 Safety Management

Implement safe work procedures. Use PPE and safe equipment. Follow permit systems for high risk work. Conduct inspections and toolbox talks.

08 Incident Reporting and Investigation

Report all incidents and near misses immediately. Investigate all incidents thoroughly. Identify root causes. Implement corrective actions and share lessons learned.

09 Training and Competency

Provide QHSE induction and training. Ensure task specific competency. Conduct regular awareness programs. No work without training and authorization.

10 Supplier and Contractor Management

Ensure suppliers and contractors comply with QHSE requirements. Provide induction and training where needed. Monitor and evaluate performance. Enforce compliance at all times.

11 Employee Consultation and Participation

Encourage employee involvement. Report hazards and suggest improvements. Participate in safety discussions. Quality and safety are everyone’s responsibility.

12 Emergency Preparedness

Maintain emergency response plans. Conduct regular drills and simulations. Ensure effective communication. Be prepared for all emergency situations.

Scope

This policy applies to all employees contractors subcontractors visitors and any person working on behalf of Maas Trading at all locations warehouses and project sites.
